In The News: Drummers Headed To Obama Inauguration
Three Galesburg teens have their good rhythm to thank for a chance to attend Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration next week.
Yes, that’s right. Rhythm.
As a member of the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps based in Dubuque, Iowa, 18-year-old Kyle Barshinger will be pounding his bass drum as the ensemble plays “76 Trombones” along the inaugural parade route Jan. 20.
