The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps of Dubuque, one of two Iowa groups selected to participate in the inaugural parade on January 20, will be staying on the Gallaudet campus prior to the big day. The group of 16- to 21-year-old members and alumni of the corps will spend the days leading up to the inauguration of Barack Obama preparing for one of the most significant performances in their 45-year history.

Most participants will arrive on campus on January 18 after a 24-hour bus ride from Iowa. Additional members of the marching ensemble as well as alumni spectators will fly or drive to D.C. on their own and meet the group on campus. Approximately 225 members, alumni, volunteer drivers, staff, and family members will be on campus with the group.
