In The News: Notre Dame Grad To Perform In Inauguration Day Parade

Michael Peachy will have a unique perspective Tuesday, when all eyes of the world will be focused on the inauguration of the United States’ first African-American president, Barack Obama.

While huge crowds numbering in the millions are expected to attend, Peachey won’t have to vie for a piece of pavement because he’ll be a feature of the event.

The 19-year-old snare drummer will be marching along Washington D. C.’s Pennsylvania Avenue, past the White House and the new president.
