In The News: Young Woman From First Coast Marches In Inaugural Parade
Lined on both sides of Pennsylvania Avenue, thousands came to watch the 2009 Inaugural Parade, except for one particular young lady from Jacksonville.
Heather Cotney wasn’t a spectator. She was part of the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps, one of several marching bands to perform.
"Absolutely amazing! Really nothing can compare. I mean it was probably the most historical inauguration in U.S. history and just to be a part of that was phenomenal," says Cotney.
