The Force Drum Corps Update

There is a lot happening behind the scenes in preparation for the debut of ‘THE FORCE’, the new mini-corps/brass ensemble, future field corps from Fort Worth/Arlington, TX.

#1 The Due Structure has been posted and for 2009, the cost is a whopping $5 per rehearsal! See webpage for more info
#2 The Corps will rehearse on Thursday nights, only adding Saturdays once a month when the time comes to learn drill

#3 The Corps is looking for a webpage/Logo Designer to help take the corps from the basic start-up page to a new and improved page to get the info out there. A logo for the corps would also be cool.
#4 The Corps is now accepting applications for ‘Corps Director’. The Corps has been run via committee since day one, but it’s time to take the next step and put a face to the project:

***NEWSFLASH! After months of planning and executing this project as a group, we have decided it is time we find a ‘leader’ a face for THE FORCE. We are now accepting applications for the position of ‘Corps Director’. We ask that any interested applicant shoot us a quick bio and how the thoughts expressed on our webpage gel with your ideas for a new corps in Texas. We have asked a few corps directors that have been very helpful to us in getting started/bouncing ideas off of to review those emails. We will narrow down to a few applicants and interview in person. This is a paid position (minimal, but still a paid position). Prior Corps/Winterguard/Band Director Experience preferred, but not absolutely necessary for the right candidate!
