2009 Mandarins February Camp Report

In contrast to January’s sunny skies, the Mandarins’ February camp was held amidst rainy and windy conditions. However, the elements did not prevent the Mandarins from taking the next step in developing the 2009 program, Absolute.

During Sunday’s ensemble rehearsal, the brass and percussion sections played through this season’s opener, Festive Overture. Vince Oliver, the corps’ front ensemble arranger, was present to listen to and evaluate the completed opener.
