Memphis Sound Expanding Management Teams

Memphis Sound’s parent organization (Memphis Youth Performing Arts Association, soon to be Mid-South Youth Performing Arts Association) is looking for some additional Board Members and Administrative Team Members.

We are looking for folks with business and/or music/corps backgrounds.

Experience in Fundraising, Grants, Community Involvement/Development/Relations, Human Resources, Operations, Accounting, Non-Profit Administration, Legal, Administrative, and Logistics are strongly desired.

Select positions are available as internships to qualified student applicants.

Current Board and Administrative Team members come from TN, TX, and LA.

Memphis Sound Drum & Bugle Corps is the 2007 DCI Division III World Champion and a 2008 DCI Open Class Finalist. Memphis Sound is holding our Memphis rehearsal on Valentine’s Day and our next DFW rehearsal the 20-22nd. We are still auditioning for open spots in the Low brass and Front Ensemble section, and select alternate and marching positions in other sections.
