Cadets May Gala Cancelled

An economic climate that is forcing much of the country to scrutinize their spending has prompted an all-alumni committee to cancel the Cadets 75th Anniversary Gala previously scheduled for May 24th in Northern New Jersey. The decision this week came after intense polling of alumni which revealed that, with two major events on the summer calendar, many could simply not handle the costs of both.

The Cadets and the 75th Anniversary Committee will now work together in creating a grand celebration in honor of the corps’ Diamond Anniversary, with all focus on the Cadets Diamond Bash to be held Aug. 1 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Montclair State University Conference Center in Montclair, N.J.
