Cadets, Sacktig Family Lose Father, Friend And Fan

The Cadets have lost a dear friend and family member with the recent death of Arthur J. Sacktig, the father of Drill Designer Jeff Sacktig and grandfather of current Cadet Ryan Breslin. Those close the corps will particularly remember Arthur during those emotional moments last summer when he proudly watched his son Jeff inducted into the Cadets Hall of Fame.

Arthur Sacktig, 80, passed away Friday night following a heart attack. The news came as a shock for the Sacktig family who had, just weeks earlier, laid to rest Katherine Schreier, Jeff’s 100-year-old grandmother.
