Colts Looking For Final Few Great Brass Players

| |

Our winter audition process has come to a close, and we have selected an outstanding group of performers for our 2009 season. We are down to looking for the last few great members in the brass line.

We are marching a full 64 person brass line and are filled to capacity with the exception of a few final members.  If you know of anyone who has the desire, skills and dedication to be successful with us, please let them and let us know about it.

WIth two remaining pre-season rehearsal weekends, there is still time to fill our openings in time for the pre-season.

We are looking for one solid member in the trumpet, mellophone, and baritone sections, and two tuba players.

With little time left to bring along "developing" players, we are looking for accomplished players and marchers. Although the positions do not have to be filled with "lead" players, they do have to be filled with "accomplished" performers.

A recruiting poster has been developed specifically for these positions. Please print off as many as you need (preferably in color) and get the word out!

Please have prospective members get in touch with us via the website (www.colts.org) or by calling (563.582.4872) or e-mailing us
(greg [at] colts [dot] org).

Video auditions are acceptable in lieu of taking a trip to Dubuque if travel expenses, schedules or logistics are a challenge, although in-person is always the best option.
