CorpsVets Announce 2009 Drum Majors

The Atlanta CorpsVets drum and bugle corps is proud to announce the selection of Marvin Fontaine, Greg Teems and Brandon Dailey as the drum majors for the 2009 season. The group is set to lead the 2009 CorpsVets to new heights!

Marvin FontaineMarvin Fontaine is a charter member of the CorpsVets returning for his 12th season. He has conducted the corps for 10 of the 12 years of its existence. Fontaine first got involved with the CorpsVets after following a web link from Spirit of Atlanta’s website. Having been a drum major in high school, he was selected as the drum major for the corps’ inaugural year. “[Being the drum major] has been pretty cool, and I get a great sense of pride,” said Fontaine about his tenure as a drum major. “It’s great to be a champion and a finalist!” he adds.
