Crossmen And Broadway Bank Deliver For San Antonio Food Bank

The Crossmen’s favorite San Antonio financial institution, Broadway Bank, and the local PBS affiliate KLRN teamed up during February 2009 for the second annual Rick Bayless’ “One Plate at a Time” Food Drive benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.

“Crossmen World Class Drum Corps low brass instructor, Gary Barnard, came up with the idea of our corps members giving something back to our community in these tough economic times”, said Crossmen corps director, Mark Chambers. Gary suggested asking that the members bring a non-perishable food item to the next winter camp as a demonstration of caring for others less fortunate.
