Drum Corps Block Party

In the interest of keeping the~spirit of Alumni Drum Corps Alive many of us have come together to host an old fashioned Block Party. This day is open to all and will be a way to catch up with some old and new friends.

The following corps’ have sat down to make this day come together. The Brassmen Alumni, Brooklyn United, Selden Cadets, OLPH Ridgemen Alumni & The Wynn Center Toppers Alumni. We plan a fun filled day of sharing stories of days gone by & also networking and bringing everyone up to speed on what we have planned for the future.

The event starts at 11 am Saturday May 23rd at the Farmingville main Fire House located at 780 Horseblock Road Farmingville, N.Y. 11738. Many familiar faces will be in attendance and family and friends are welcome. We will have some food & drink for sale at the Block Party and you’re also welcome to bring your own.

We will also have a $5.0050/50 to be drawn the day of the event. (Winner Need Not Be Present) We will kick off the day by getting acquainted with each other again and then we plan to playa couple of tunes together. Ruben & Screech have put together a couple of tunes each that we will learn at our individual practices before the event. The drummers will learn a 48 count drum solo and at the end of this event we will let all hear what we have put together.
