The Blue Devils is pleased to announce an extremely exciting partnership with D’Addario & Company, Inc. – the maker of Evans Drum Heads

The relationship between the Blue Devils and Evans is the result of a shared philosophy…the dedication to innovative excellence. Within the highly competitive activity of Drum Corps, the Blue Devils continuously set themselves apart by exploring every possible avenue for improvement…especially when it comes to their drum sounds. The continued growth of the Evans product line, including the major strides made in just the last few years, represents the next step in the evolution of the Blue Devils sound and gives them the tools to execute their musical ideas. “The Blue Devil family is always looking for inventive ways to create the new sounds of tomorrow”, says the Blue Devils’ Director of Percussion, Scott Johnson. “We are all excited to work alongside the Evans/D’Addario team, as we move forward into next generation of marching percussion.

The partnership also represents an opportunity to explore new product ideas. The Blue Devils, founded in 1957, have won the DCI World Championship more times than any other drum corps in history. Drum Corps International title have been won in 1976, ’77, ’79, ’80, ’82, ’86, ’94, ’96, ’97, ’99. ’03 and 2007.
