Mandarins Launch New Website

The newly redesigned website of the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps goes live today on the World Wide Web. Mandarins.org aims to extend the reach of the Mandarins’ programs by serving a broad audience of fans, supporters, members, and potential recruits.

The new website features expanded content and streaming media including multimedia clips related to 45 years of rich performance history. The redesign incorporates bold colors and graphics and completely new navigational tools.

"Our online visitors will now experience a more vibrant and seamless view of our informational resources," said Ray Mar, Corps Director.

Design Team
G.M. Art & Design, led by Gregory Mar and Daisuke Sakurai, has been developing the new design over the past several months, working with the Mandarins’ staff to better support the Corps’ multifaceted mission.

"This new design was created specifically for their online audience of visitors, members and parents, fans, and potential recruits," says Gregory. "Packed with multimedia, news, and stories that will be constantly updated, the website will help make the Mandarins’ extensive resources more attractive and accessible. We will be adding video blogs from tour throughout the summer to make it easier for fans to stay in touch with the Corps — so stay logged in!"
