In The News: Cadet Band To March In For Longer Training Camp

The elite Cadet Drum and Bugle Corps enjoyed its stay in the Johnstown area so much that it will be around for an extra week this year.

The Allentown-based corps held training here for the first time last year. The camp will be extended to four weeks this year.

Justin Heimbecker, assistant director, said the group was warmly embraced by residents and officials at Richland High School and Pitt-Johnstown, where the training is held.
