In The News: ‘Classic’ Honors Memory Of Musician

Curt Anderson of Chili had a love for music his friends said could not be surpassed. As a devoted drum corps member, he was determined never to miss a show or practice even when his health was deteriorating.

That’s why months after his death, his group, Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps, decided to honor him by naming their annual show after him.

Mighty St. Joe’s this Saturday hosted “The Curt Anderson Memorial Classic XVI” in honor of Anderson, who passed away from heart complications Dec. 1, 2008. He was 62.
