One of Phantom Regiment’s own will be honored tonight for more than 50 years of contributions to music in Rockford. Jim Wren, Phantom Regiment’s principal brass arranger for more than 30 years, will be presented with the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) at its 18th annual RAMI awards ceremony Thursday, April 30th at 7 p.m. The award ceremony takes place at: Tebala Shrine Temple 7910 Newburg Road Tickets: $5.00 advance/$7.00 door
