Cadets Return To Giants Stadium For Final Time Aug. 2

It’s shaping up to be a remarkable summer for the Cadets, their fans and their alumni – and it just got a little bit better – as the 75th Anniversary Diamond Bash Weekend will now be capped off with the Music in Motion drum corps competition being held at Giants Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 2.

“The move from Clifton Stadium to Giants Stadium has been in the works for a few weeks,” said George Hopkins, Director of the Cadets. “When the last obstacle was removed to allow us to move the Aug. 2nd event, we jumped at the chance to not only celebrate the final event of the 75th Anniversary weekend in a world-class facility, but also return to the stadium which has been part of the Cadets’ heritage and tradition for nearly 30 years. Besides, if Bruce Springsteen announced his final concerts for this fall in the stadium, we needed to take this opportunity to mark the end of this piece of history in our own activity!”
