DCE Holds Judges College In Belgium

DCE held its annual Judges College in Dadizele – Belgium last weekend. The judges in attendance went over the basic principles of judging as well as specfic caption sessions.

There were judges from Holland, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Thailand in attendance. Bob Thomas, the Director of Education, was extremely pleased with the interaction and the intensity of the education process.

All judges got a chance to practice and improve their judging skills. A great exchange of information and experiences about the judging processes was had by all. "It was the most intense training so far", said Bob Thomas. The DCE education committee, Bruce Vrancken (Adjudication Manager), Paul Morgan (Music Caption Head) and Jim Lauver (Visual Caption Head) continue to improve the judging organisation with all their efforts.
