In The News: Cadet Drum And Bugle Corps Sharpens Steps At Local Camp
They say practice makes perfect and that certainly holds true for the elite Cadet Drum and Bugle Corps.
The 150-member Allentown-based corps is in Johnstown for its camp and practicing almost every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the next four weeks to perfect every step before heading out on an extensive summer tour.
“You know, you get up and you just do it because it’s a lot of fun,” said Rochelle Hooper, 21, a two-year member with the cadets from Dallas. She spoke during a quick water break.
