Spring Training Is Here For 2009 Cadets

The days leading up to Move-In and Spring Training are more than a little hectic. For Cadets Assistant Director Justin Heimbecker, the devil has been in the details. Transportation needs, member and staff travel plans and pick-ups, detailed food menus and shopping, locating needed drivers and volunteers, music and instructional materials prepared. Then there’s seeing to the loading and moving of the equipment hauler and the food truck, all coordinated to be in Johnstown, Pa., for 200-plus people who arrive by the end of this weekend.

But by late Sunday evening, with a crack admin team at his side, Heimbecker and nearly all 150 Cadets, staff and volunteers will be comfortably settled into their new home for the next 31 days.
