2009 Academy CenterStage Recording Now Available

The Academy’s annual audio recording is always an anticipated arrival. Our 2009 edition was recorded live at the Tempe Center for the Arts at the spectacular theater production – CenterStage. In addition to the 2009 field show music, the cd features nearly an hour of all the music that was performed at the theater production including special music performed by guest drummer Gregg Bissonette, a dueling drumset duet with Gregg and Academy age-out Wes Anderson, a section feature by the drumline accompanied by Gregg on the set, the cymbal section, a funky and hilarious composition performed by our tuba section, a groovy concert percussion arrangement , and three extra brass pieces prepared just for the CenterStage production.
