2009 Sun Devils May Report

We finished up the last of the May camps this past weekend. The weekend showed marked success in getting a full 9 minutes of drill on the field! The corps still has the final movement, "X-4" to learn. But the brass now has X-4 in their hungry little hands.

Officially The Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps have been approved and accepted into the Drum Corps International (DCI) organization! With our acceptance, The Sun Devils have been approved to compete in the Teal Sound home show in Valdosta, GA on July 10 and DCI Orlando on July 11. We have been calling this our mini-DCI tour. With DCI in the mix, we can truly offer a wide range of drum corps experiences for the membership in the 2009 season.
