In The News: Brass Spectacular Canceled
It wasn’t an easy decision, but the annual Brass Spectacular held at Pittsburg State has been canceled this year.
The Brass Spectacular was part of the Drum Corps International Summer Music Games tour that concludes with the World Championships in Indianapolis.
Blame it on funding or the economy, but either way, organizer Doug Whitten said he could no longer find a reason to hold the event every year.
