In The News: Spirit Travels Farthest In History Of DARC

Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps from Jacksonville, Ala., is traveling more miles to get to Drums Along the Red Cedar (DARC) in Menomonie than any corps in the event’s nine-year history. Sponsored by Jacksonville State University, it is the only corps to be sponsored by an institution of higher education in the activity today.

"We’re really excited to have the corps here for our fans," said Dan Tye, co-chair of the DARC Volunteer Team. "This is a top-notch World Class Corps joining the rest of the line-up and we know the folks at the show will enjoy them."
