Pacific Crest Alumnus Joel Peters Suffers Serious Injury

It is with great sadness that we report a serious accident involving Pacific Crest alumnus Marine Sgt. Joel Peters, who played euphonium with Pacific Crest from 2002-2003. Peters sustained severe head trauma due to an on-duty vehicular accident in Djibouti, Africa. He is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, where his condition remains serious.
We send our thoughts and prayers to the Peters family, including Joel’s wife, Darcy, for a full recovery.
