A Request Of SCV Friends, Fans, Family And Alumni

The Santa Clara Vanguard would like to humbly request that our family, friends, fans and alumni refrain from expressing their support for the corps through the yell of "Vanguard!" in one of the silent passages of the 2009 program "Ballet for Martha."

While we recognize that the enthusiastic yell has been a tradition for over a decade, this year’s program utilizes silence as a point of dramatic effect, which could be diminished by a display of this type of planned support.
