In The News: Drum Corps Makes Stop In Freeport

In the hot sun, day in and day out, traveling on tour buses or trying to catch a few precious hours of sleep on a hard gymnasium floor, 150 teens and young adults have signed on for a marching band journey that will stay with them forever.

Among the crowd of suntanned bodies gathered Wednesday outside Brazosport High School was one of its graduates, Chad Crummel, who joined the San Antonio-based Crossmen Drum Corps to fulfill a dream.
