In The News: Drum Event Refunds Offered

The Fort Edward Lions Club has changed its tune.

The Lions Club met last week, three days after the Adirondack Drums show was canceled, to figure out what do to about ticket-buyers who were left with nonrefundable tickets.

The tickets cost up to $22, and many would-be spectators bought them with the understanding that the show would be held rain or shine. But after an hour long postponement, the show was canceled — the first time in 29 years that it didn’t go on.
