In The News: Hokes Bluff Graduate Part Of DCI Summer Tour
"It’s really an incredible rush when you’re standing there and you have 500 to 9,000 people or more there to see you and what you’re about to do. It’s not a feeling that you can get anywhere in the world. You feel like a rock star."
That’s how 20-year-old Tyler Campbell describes how he feels competing in the Drum Corps International Summer Tour as a member of the Madison Scouts Marching Music Ensemble.
As part the DCI Southern Series, 11 world-class corps will compete Friday at Gadsden City High School’s Titan Stadium.
