In The News: Regiment Heading West With ‘Excalibur’

The regiment got its marching orders and will leave town on Tuesday, headed west.

Make that The Regiment. 7th Regiment. The New London-based junior drum and bugle corps will make its bid for the 2009 Drum Corps International Championship over the next week in Indiana.

It was my pleasure and passion to serve as the stadium announcer when the corps hosted its annual show, “Drum Corps on the Thames,” on July 11 at Fitch High School.
