Santa Clara Vanguard Members Battling The Drum Corps Bug

Though the Santa Clara Vanguard has been experiencing one of its best years from a general health standpoint, some members of the corps have recently contracted a viral illness. Currently the tour administration is managing the health of fourteen corps members in various stages of the illness. These members are not rehearsing and are being kept separated from the rest of the corps. They are all resting comfortably in a separate room. Medical personnel have been consulted and SCV is following their instructions to the letter. The illness seems to have taken a 24-48 hour period, as nine members who were ill yesterday have shown improvement today.

The corps performed last night in Richmond, KY with nine holes due to illness. They do not have a performance this evening. They are performing on Thursday in Columbus, OH.
