In The News: 5 Questions With A Phantom Regiment Member

Stephen Mikulay, 19, of Huntley, has been on the road since Memorial Day weekend touring with the Phantom Regiment of Rockford, which will be defending its Drum Corps International World Championship from Aug. 6 to 8 in Indianapolis. The Regiment is known for its use of classical music to tell a tale in its presentations, and this year’s spectacle, "The Red Violin," is no exception.

"Our theme this year is that true love can triumph over all — over fame and tempation and all challenges," Mikulay said.
