In The News: Drum Corps A Way Of Life For Dedicated Participants
Since late June, 19-year-old Matthew Geiger has bounced across the country. Every couple of days he’s been in a new city, sleeping on school gymnasium floors between performances in his elite marching drum corps ensemble.
But for the Indianapolis native, life as a member of the California-based Santa Clara Vanguard is all about the music and the competition.
