Madison Scouts Welcome James Prime As Music Designer/Arranger

Chris Komnick, executive director, and James Mason, artistic director of the Madison Scouts, are pleased to announce DCI Hall of Fame member James Prime as Music Designer and Arranger for the Madison Scouts.

James Prime has been writing professionally for brass and percussion groups since 1977. In focusing his efforts on outdoor music pageantry, he has arranged the scores for the Garfield Cadets, Ventures and Star of Indiana drum corps and worked with the Crossmen and Bridgemen. With many published titles to his credit, he was a primary orchestrator for the Canadian Brass/Star of Indiana concert series and Brass Theater tours of 1994-98. Since that time he has worked as Musical Director for the Tony Award winning Blast! along with other M.E.G. projects.
