Montgomery Retires From Blue Stars

Long-time instructor Brent Montgomery has decided to retire from his role as Percussion Caption Head for the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps. Montgomery has been the leader of the Blue Stars’ percussion since the 2006 season when the corps returned to World Class competition.

"Brent’s contributions to our percussion program and our entire organization have been enormous during the past four years," said Executive Director Brad Furlano. "He took a Division II program and developed it into a World Class finalist ensemble. Brent’s dedication and commitment to the Blue Stars has been overwhelming. I and other alums owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his work with the corps."
