Sun Devils Win 2009 Music City Metal Class A Title

After a grueling 14 hour one way bus ride, the corps came ready to work. The Sun Devils have been preparing for its first DCA competition in Antioch, TN. The show, "Music City Metal" was hosted by Music City Legend Drum and Bugle Corps. The show was well attended and had a very all age corps friendly audience. Ominous weather threatened the show, but it let up in time for The Sun Devils. The weather was a cool 75 with a slight breeze. The corps has been waiting for this kind of weather!

After a four hour rehearsal, the corps got a little bit of down time to shower, eat, and get show ready. The Sun Devils were the first corps in competition for the evening. The corps was followed by Shenandoah Sound, then Lakeshoremen. The Lakeshoremen are from Troy, MI and are members of DCA-Central. It was VERY nice to see an out of region corps participating in the festivities.
