2010 Academy Design Team Begins Planning
The initial meeting was focused on geting organized for the coming season with scheduling weekly phone conference calls and design workshop sessions. The team also worked on a detailed timeline for expected design milestones for September through June.
"Part of the success of 2009 was attributed to the design team’s investment of time and an organized approach to meetings and goals", commented Director Mark Richardson. "What we learned in past seasons is that it is never too early to begin planning and developing concepts for such a large scale production as a drum corps show. The season jumps up on you quickly and before you know it, auditions will be here. We want to have the show design well under way by the time we see our applicants for the first time in December."
