2010 Forte Audition Information

Forte is a brand new corps based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area and is applying for DCI Open Class Status for 2010. The corps is carrying on the tradition and legacy of Memphis Sound, a 2009 DCI Open Class Finalist. Most of the members and staff from that corps will be continuing on with this new venture. Forte also plans to honor that legacy by keeping certain traditions alive through the new corps (Corps Song, Pre-show hype, corps colors, etc).

Forte is a member of Overture Youth Advocacy through the Arts, a brand new organization that is the process of applying for their 501c3. For more information about Forte or OYAA please visit www.fortecorps.org or email info [at] fortecorps [dot] org

For 2010, there are various ways a prospective member can join the corps. Videotape locations allow members to audition in front of a staff member and a video camera for a chance at an invitation to the Dallas or Houston camps (Video tapes are also accepted by email or snail mail – details on fortecorps.org). Feb 13th – 12-5pm – Memphis, TN (In conjunction with ‘Fallin’ in Love’ Event – Audition for Open Spots only)
