Capital Brass! Tapped To Help Celebrate New York’s 400th

In one of the several events this fall, commemorating the Birth of New York State, the 2009 Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial Stamp Exposition (StampExpo 400) is being held in commemoration of the accomplishments of Henry Hudson, Samuel de Champlain and Robert Fulton. The event will take place on the concourse of the Empire State Plaza in Albany; September 25th-27th.

Capital Brass! will perform the National Anthem and several Patriotic Selctions at the Opening Ceremony; Friday morning, beginning at 10:00am. The corps is proud to be an regular participant in important events in the Capital of New York State, and also proud to be chosen to take part in the Quadricentential of New York State.
