In The News: Sun Devils Aim To Win Contest

Music was in the air Saturday night, and the Devils were into the details.

Nearly 100 people came to watch the Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps perform at North Port High School and wish them luck.

Ranging in age from 15 to 50, the 55 local musicians shared the field during a home show before their last competition of the year. The nonprofit organization will represent Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties this weekend at the Drum Corps Associates World Championships in Rochester, N.Y. The Sun Devils are currently ranked in the top five all-age Class A corps.
