Madison Scouts Extend The Contract Of Komnick

| |

The Madison Scouts board of directors voted unanimously to extend the contract of Executive Director Chris Komnick through October 31, 2011. “Since taking the position in January of this year, Chris has done an excellent job in addressing our financial systems and invigorating our fund raising activities,” said Jeff Manion, board president. “We are excited by the new programming direction charged by Chris and we are privileged that alumni such as Chris and James Mason have been willing to volunteer their services in the interest of advancing our corps.”

“I wanted to ensure that we have stability in the leadership of the Madison Scouts to guide it through what will certainly be a critical transformation over the next couple of years,” said Chris Komnick. “We are fortunate that many key people feel so strongly about the character of this organization that they have dedicated themselves personally to assure its survival. I am going to ask that our alumni and patrons do the same. The corps has a great vision for its future, now is the time to see that through with your financial support.”
