The Atlanta CorpsVets Drum and Bugle Corps announce Victor Mooney as Program Coordinator for the 2010 season.

Victor is looking forward to his second year on the CorpsVets design and instructional staff and will continue in his role as Color Guard Caption Head. “I am excited to be taking on the position of Program Coordinator.” Victor said “I am eager to continue the upward spiral begun for the corps by David Henry.” David Henry will continue with the corps in his role as brass arranger and instructor but has decided to step back as program coordinator to allow himself more time for family and his duties as Director of Bands at Dalton High School.

“We are extremely pleased that Victor has accepted the program coordinator/designer position,” said Corps Director David W. Stollberg. “He was a wonderful addition to our staff last season and we are looking forward to his fresh, innovative design and programming as he takes on the leadership role for our design team. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank David Henry for his excellent work with the corps over the past several years. We are very pleased that David will be staying on as brass arranger and brass staff.”

A resident of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Victor has been the Guard Director for the 4 time South Carolina 3A State Marching Band Champions from Blue Ridge High School since 2002. From 1998-2003 he served as the Director of the Infiniti Winterguard program and from 2005-2008 as the Director of The Cast Winterguard. Through the years he has been an instructor for both the Citrus Bowl and Capitol One Bowl Halftime Shows as well as an adjudicator in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and Texas.

The Atlanta CorpsVets will begin their 2010 season with an Open House on November 15th, 2009. Location to be announced soon. Registration will begin at 11:00 am. Please visit our website at www.corpsvets.org for further information.
