2010 Spirit Drum Major & Conductor Auditions

Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps will be interviewing potential drum majors and conductors for the 2010 season at its first audition camp in December. Potential drum majors are required to have been a member of the corps for at least one complete season. Conductors may be chosen from veterans of the corps as well as potential new members looking to spend their drum corps season with Spirit. Conductor positions are not restricted to brass or percussion performers, nor those with prior drum major of drum corps experience.

The drum major position at Spirit is a leadership and conducting post. This member has many responsibilities from the podium, but most duties occur off the podium. The drum major should best exemplify the highest standards of the corps and be able to interact with fellow members and staff as an enthusiastic, proactive, thoughtful and dedicated corps member.
