7th Regiment Adds Blancaflor, Fallon To 2010 Design Team

The 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to provide the drum corps community with news regarding their 2010 competitive season. Michael Blancaflor will be joining the design team as the battery percussion arranger, lending his wisdom to the show design process and working with returning music arrangers Steve Wolf (brass) and Bob Rush (front ensemble.) Mike has made his mark throughout the past decade with several prominent percussion programs in Connecticut, including Norwalk HS, the Norwich Free Academy, Cheshire HS, and the Connecticut Hurricanes.

Another newcomer to the creative team for the 2010 season is Ray Fallon, Sr. Ray’s drum corps backgroud includes marching with the Sunrisers in the early 1970’s and serving as arranger, instructor and caption head for the following corps: The Bridgemen, Milford Shoreliners, Connecticut Hurricanes, Archer-Epler Musketeers, Bengal Lancers, Yankee Rebels, Crossmen, Boston Crusaders and Boston Crusaders Alumni corps. He also taught many bands including: Ridley Park HS (PA), Norwalk HS, Naugatuck HS, and East Lyme HS. Ray was also an adjudicator for music as a member of the National Judges Assoc., and CMBC. The 7th Regiment is eager to benefit from Ray’s experience and creativity.

Rounding out the design team, Steve Lyons will return to write the drill and Dana Saccomano will return as color guard designer. Stay tuned to www.7thregiment.org for further updates on the exciting beginning to their 2010 season!
