Bushwackers Launch Redesigned Website

| |

The Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps have released a completely new website at their familiar internet address:

www.bushwackers.org

The website has undergone a complete and total graphic overhaul, but still contains much of the historical and news information of the previous version of bushwackers.org. The site contains a new photo gallery, historical information and lists, a Flash based news ticker and photo slide show, an updated and slightly tweaked "Bushwackers" logo, and much more.

The Bushwackers are excited to finally unveil the new site, and invite everyone to visit, browse around, and contribute to the content. An email address, media [at] bushwackers [dot] org, has been set up so that alumni, family, and friends can share their images, videos, newspaper articles, and stories with the Bushwackers and the world. Site visitors are encouraged to add to the corps’ ever-growing media archive.

"The new website is a very important first step in our re-branding efforts," said Chris Kilian, a member of the web/tech team. "The old bushwackers.org served us very well for many years, and I want to thank Alex Nielsen for all of his hard work and effort over the years. We wanted to continue to have the kind of web presence that a world-class drum and bugle corps deserves, while making the experience more interactive and informative. I definitely think that our new look is a positive step in that direction. There are a lot of positive and exciting things happening behind the scenes with the Bushwackers this off-season, and we’re extremely excited to share this first step with our fans. Expect more great things to come from the Bushwackers."

The six time DCA world champion Bushwackers are an all-age drum corps that competes on the weekends throughout the summer in the DCA circuit. The corps is currently accepting new members in all sections.
