Connecticut Hurricanes Announce 2010 Design Team

| |

The Connecticut Hurricanes are pleased to announce their 2010 Design Team. Coming off one of the most successful regular seasons in our long history, the Hurricanes are pleased to announce the return of Jim Dugan as Vice President for Programming, Michael Klesch as the Brass Arranger, Kevin Murphy as the Percussion Arranger, Jamey Thompson as the Drill Designer and Philip Triani, Jim Zulick and John Lemire as the designers of the defending two-time world champion color guard.

New to the team in 2010 is Chris Johnson as the Front Ensemble Arranger. Chris is no stranger to the Corps as he has been involved with the Hurricanes as a front ensemble technician for the last two years. This year, his role is being expanded to include design responsibilities.

"The critical factor in the continued growth of the Hurricanes as a DCA contender is the talent and commitment of these designers in providing a vehicle that could lead the Corps toward the top," stated Kevin Hassan, Corps President. "Having the majority of the design team return is a big motivating factor for the entire organization to get started. I cannot wait to see what this team provides for a 2010 production."

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Hurricanes, we would like to thank Tim Holcomb for his long service and commitment to the Hurricanes in many roles including marching member, percussion technician, percussion caption head and front ensemble arranger. We want wish Tim and his wife Deb (former CG Captain) the best of wishes as they embark on a new phase of their lives!

Stay tuned for more exciting staff announcements for the 2010 edition of the Connecticut Hurricanes. For membership information as well as other news on the Hurricanes, please visit the Corps website – www.cthurricanes.org.
