In The News: Benefit Will Help Spartans Tune Up Ffor 2010 Season

The cash-strapped Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps, armed with a court-approved plan to emerge from bankruptcy, will return for a 2010 season and have a fundraiser planned for Friday.

The event, which will include a silent auction and live performance of the Salem High School Band, will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Nashua. The evening’s theme is a tribute to the life and legacy of Spartans founder Albert A. LaFlamme.
