Spirit Selected To Present GMEA Conference Clinic

Spirit is excited to announce the corps has been selected to present a clinic session at the upcoming 2010 Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference in Savannah, GA. Spirit Director of Education and Programming Mark Waymire will lead a team of clinicians to include brass co-caption heads, Todd Snead and Andy Putnam along with special guest Freddy Martin, renown brass pedagogue, long time Georgia Music Educator, and founder of Spirit drum and bugle corps, in a session that will provide valuable insight into how a DCI World Class drum corps develops brass performance fundamentals and technique, along with early season ensemble rehearsal strategies that can be used in the school wind program.
